About Wolf Wirth

With over 25 years in IT leadership, I’ve spent my career helping organizations use technology to work smarter, operate more securely, and adapt to change. I currently oversee global IT operations and strategy, focusing on efficiency, resilience, and aligning technology initiatives with real business needs. My background is a bit unconventional. I hold a Master’s degree in Liberal Arts from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München, which gives me a broader perspective on how technology fits into the bigger picture. I’ve always believed that IT is most effective when it’s not just supporting the business but actively driving it forward.I’ve led efforts across infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity, data analytics, and enterprise systems. Along the way, I’ve built strong teams, improved service delivery, and modernized core platforms. I also manage vendor relationships, contract negotiations, SLAs, and policy development, with a focus on achieving practical, lasting results.Mentorship is something I value deeply. I enjoy supporting the growth of emerging professionals and fostering a team culture centered on learning, ownership, and adaptability. To me, great IT leadership is ultimately about people, clarity, and delivering value where it matters most.
