About Wonder Wang

My name is Yudan (Wonder) Wang. I'm a junior Girls Who Invest Scholar, Lingdaoli Scholar, and Robert Day Scholar majoring in Economics & Finance at Claremont McKenna College. I originally came from northeast China and was educated in a 6-year Japanese-invested middle & high school. Having completed PPE and sociology programs at Princeton University and Sciences Po Paris, I'm now immersed in the leadership-focused liberal arts education provided by Claremont McKenna. Already had several experiences doing technology & consumer projects at hedge funds and consulting firms, I aimed to empower more global companies to seek opportunities between the North American and Asian markets with my cultural, educational, and professional background.Outside of my career, I'm an educational equity activist. Holding an incessant passion for giving back to my hometown by providing more resources and opportunities for students with unprivileged backgrounds, I founded my non-profit organization, Yupeng Commonweal, and grew it from 5 to volunteers in 7 years, supporting 600+ kids for higher education.In my spare time, I love team sports such as volleyball, lacrosse, and camping. I'm also an adventurous snowboarder always ready to climb a higher mountain or try a new trick. My fun fact is that I'm a popular online fiction writer with 3 million readers. I believe life's value lies in experience, community, and breakthroughs.
