About Wout Vuijk

Experienced and pragmatic supply chain professional who is specialized in project management within fulfillment and last-mile distribution. During the past 10 years I have taken the lead as project manager in setting up various (new) last-mile distribution centres and crossdocks. Additionally I managed the expansion and project management of highly automated e-fulfillment warehouses into Belgium, Germany and UK. In these expansions I am responsible for the entire process from A to Z. This includes finding the right location, negotiating the contract, designing the set-up and layout, procurement of all installations, project management of the fit-outs. I work in a result-oriented way and can maintain the overview even in complex situations. Recognizing main from secondary issues comes naturally to me. I really enjoy taking on challenging tasks and creating a structured approach to get things done. The past experiences have given me a deep and wide base of knowledge of last-mile and e-fulfillment activities but I have no issues delegating tasks to experts. I operate from a positive perspective and enjoy collaborating with a variety of people.
