Ik werk als business consultant bij TNO op het snijvlak van technologie, duurzaamheid en gezondheid. Mijn focus ligt op modelgedreven aansturing van woningen en kantoren om energiegebruik, binnenluchtkwaliteit en comfort te verbeteren. Ik help overheden en bedrijven om energie te besparen, netbelasting te beperken en de energievraag af te stemmen op duurzame bronnen. Sinds 2004 werk ik aan ventilatie en binnenmilieu, met specifieke aandacht voor het effect van gebouwinstallaties op gezondheid en comfort. Ook speel ik een actieve rol in de vertaling van Europese regelgeving (zoals de EPBD) naar nationale wetgeving. Wat mij drijft is samenwerking met bevlogen experts, en het vertalen van onderzoek naar praktische toepassingen die maatschappelijke waarde creëren. I support public and private stakeholders in saving energy, relieving grid pressure, and aligning demand with sustainable supply. Since 2004, I’ve worked on ventilation and indoor environmental quality, with a focus on how building systems affect health and comfort. I’m also actively involved in translating EU policies (like the EPBD) into national legislation.
