Journalistic projects I am involved in: ° Founder of the Invisible Cities project, an international collaboration of 8 European journalism schools. It depicts citizens of big cities telling their stories. City dwellers who are left out, often because of the way people label them. The project started in 2016 in Antwerp.(https://invisible-cities.eu/) ° Co-leader of the Inclusive journalism focus group, founded in 2023 within The European Journalism Training Association (EJTA). That groups about 80 journalism centres, schools and universities from about 30 countries across Europe. Within the focus group, we set up inclusive journalistic projects, share experiences and best practices and invite experts to share their insights on the topic. ° Founder of hyperlocal newspaper Den Triangel. The newspaper is distributed in a neighbourhood in Antwerp's city centre. Journalism students of AP University of Applied Sciences Antwerp publish the newspaper and the online media. Den Triangel is already for 19 years a well-read and trusted medium that also focuses on enhancing social ° Co-founder of the international EUfactcheck.eu project that started in Spring 2019. About 25 journalism schools participated or are still participating in factchecking claims on Europe by politicians and other public figures. Co-creator of the Factcheck flowchart, which is the methodology used by all participants in the EUfactcheck project.(https://eufactcheck.eu/)
