About Wouter Terlouw

Currently working as strategy advisor at Stedin. Before joining the Stedin I worked energy systems at the Municipality of Rotterdam and as as managing consultant at Guidehouse (formerly Navigant & Ecofys) for companies, associations and governments to develop sustainability strategies and to accelerate the energy transition. I combined strategic thinking with analytical skills and technical expertise to support clients across all levels of the organisations. My work for clients ranged from providing corporate climate strategy advisory, to the development of analytical tools to streamline clients business processes. I am an experienced project manager, striving to deliver great insights for my clients, but also to provide exciting learning and development opportunities for my team members. Before joining Guidehouse, I worked for Quintel Intelligence as junior project manager and researcher, and was responsible for the industrial sector in the Energy Transition Model, the development of a teacher training and the extension of the model with four European countries. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry (2011) and a Master of Science in Energy Science (2014) from Utrecht University.
