About Wouter Timmerman
A former Belgian international junior triathlete with a passion for endurance sports and their underpinning science, who enjoys coaching (international) athletes and exploring the world while running, cycling and travelling. Driven by those passions I obtained a MSc Physical Education and Kinesiology at KU Leuven. During my studies I gathered international experience within elite environments in triathlon (Joel Filliol Triathlon Crew, The Triathlon Squad and the Belgian Tri- and Duathlon federation) and cycling (Quick-Step Pro Cycling team). Through the Erasmus+ traineeship I had the opportunity to spend 4 months at the University of Kent (UK) for a research traineeship. While studying I gained experience coaching at the local swim and triathlon club, and coaching individual athletes complemented by relevant student jobs.
