I get my energy from deep tech, from shipping frameworks like Lightning 3.0 to solving gnarly problems on low-powered TV and STB devices. But equally, I love transforming underdog teams — the ones that feel broken, fragmented, or uninspired — into tight, motivated, high-performing crews that actually enjoy crushing ambitious goals together. I lead from the trenches: writing code, setting benchmarks, reviewing PRs, and proving by example that impossible things are just unattempted things. Corporate norms don’t excite me.
