Too many media outlets face shrinking funding, political pressure and the dominance of big tech platforms that limit diverse voices and create echo chambers. Without trustworthy media, disinformation spreads, polarisation deepens and abuse of power grows. At RNW Media we fight to keep digital media pluralistic, independent and resilient. We back local digital media makers to stay financially viable, protect information integrity, promote the ethical use of technology and AI, foster democratic discussion on sensitive issues such as gender and migration, and defend human rights worldwide. Over more than twenty years I have brought together governments, civil society and business across five continents. I turn strategy into action, build strong partnerships, secure resources and tell complex stories with clarity. I lead with a people first approach and learn openly from challenges.
