About Wyatt Ditzler

I'm a motivated IT Manager that strives to provide the most up-to-date information technology to the patrons of Beloit Public Library. I enjoy working in conjunction with the Wisconsin Library Association and the Wisconsin Public Library Consortium, Prairie Lakes Library System, and the SHARE Consortium of libraries all in Wisconsin. A project that I have been working towards for the past 10 years is the feasibility of a fiber optic community area network in Beloit and Rock County, WI. That project now has devoted Rock County funding to build out the critical infrastructure of the network that connects Rock County, the City of Janesville, and the City of Beloit. I’m in regular contact with IT professionals. Both library related IT specialists, vendors for libraries, third party IT services, and business IT leaders across Wisconsin and the US. Ideas and information come from anywhere. I like to learn what others are doing in many different fields of operations and share what I am doing. Discerning what can be used, what is needed, and how to budget for both to provide the necessary technologies is a part of my position that I enjoy. I am very passionate about sharing what I have learned I’m my area of expertise with others.
