Background
About Wyn Baptiste
Filmmaker, broadcast journalist, occasional presenter. Worked in news, factual, documentary and drama. Currently working at Nutopia on Pole to Pole a natural history / adventure series hosted by Will Smith. An experienced producer/director with a strong background in current affairs, business, the arts, politics, health, youth programming and social history. Formerly a journalist at the BBC for several years. I bring creativity to content though generating original ideas - with a good eye for pictures, sound editorial judgement and strong writing skills. I have worked on location across the UK, Europe, USA and Africa. My strengths lie in leadership, formulating ideas, directing in the field, interviewing, scripting and overseeing edits. I can also present on TV and radio. I have wide experience of project and people management in broadcast media, ranging from leading crews in the field to heading a newsroom of 30 journalists.
