About Xander Boggs

I am a graduate of UF where I received a Master's in Management, a Bachelor's in Music in Combination with Pre-Medical Studies with a minor in chemistry, a music in medicine certificate and a music performance certificate. I have been accepted to Tulane University School of Medicine to pursue my MD and a Master's in Public Health. At UF, I founded GRACE Advocacy Program, an organization that works to connect the human and material resources of UF with GRACE Marketplace, Alachua County's largest homeless shelter. In Spring 2023, we served 4,067 meals, volunteered 524 hours, collected 1,653 donations, and won the "Greater Good Organization of the Year" Award from UF Student Activities and Involvement. I am a NREMT licensed Emergency Medical Technician, trained at Eastern Florida State College. I work as an EMT as well as a Behavioral Technician. I play the cello along with many other instruments and love the balance between the studies of music and science. I am passionate about the inclusion of humanities in medicine and will work throughout my career to advance patient-centered care. I sing and play keyboard, guitar, bass, and cello in a band called Driptones, located in Atlanta.
