About Xander Lao

Xander Lao is the President and Chief Commercial Officer of Cebu Pacific Air (PSE: CEB), the largest airline in the Philippines. Since 2021, he has led all the commercial functions of the airline including network planning, revenue management and pricing, passenger and cargo sales, cargo commercial planning, and interline partnerships. More recently, his role expanded as President, supporting the CEO in strategic execution and stakeholder management. His past extensive CEB experience include being Chief Strategy Officer and led the Corporate Strategy team which played an integral part in CEB’s Future Size and Shape to weather the COVID-19 pandemic. Prior to that, he served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Cebgo, Inc.(a wholly owned subsidiary of Cebu Air, Inc.), assuming full responsibility for its entire operations. Xander has a Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Major in Finance, from the Asian Institute of Management (2001) and graduated with a B.S Legal Management degree from the Ateneo de Manila University (1997).
