About Xavier Arnolis

After getting my diploma of master in applied economic sciences, I immediately started working at Barry Callebaut (chocolate company located in Wieze), in September 2007. After 6,5 years of pricing (being mainly responsible for Corporate Account Customers), I decided to make a switch to the supply chain department. Originally as demand planner for the region Benelux and Scandinavia. My main responsibilities concerned building and managing a 24 months rolling forecast plan, perform data enrichment and analysis and to organize demand review calls with internal and external stakeholders. Since December 2020 I got the opportunity to switch to an interesting new role, following up on the supply of an interesting fully traceable sustainable flow, from bean to chocolate. By coordinating a cross-departmental team the purpose is to enable smooth operations of the traceable chocolate flows for a number of selected partners and co-manufacturers. Liaising with internal and external stakeholders, I need to ensure a 360° view on both the demand and supply side. In combination with the 'end to end bean to chocolate sustainability expert' role, I'm also performing a regional demand planning expert role for the key accounts in our FM business. This role consists of similar responsibilities as the demand planner role mentioned above, but also includes the initiation and establishment of a collaboration platform between supply chain, local demand planning, sales, customer care, R&D and finance. All of this with a focus on global S & OP outcome and the demand planning performance. Since May 2022 part of the Cargill family, focussing on business projects of all kinds to support long-term supply chain strategies and business goals.
