About Xavier Breton

Production Manager and former Company Director, I position myself as a results-driven leader in industrial performance, with solid experience in heavy industry, budget management, and continuous improvement. For over 12 years, I have held operational and managerial roles in process industries, before leading an SME with 85 employees, which I restructured, developed, and strategically repositioned. This dual background has shaped a mindset that is both hands-on and strategic, with a strong results orientation. My goal: to take full responsibility for an industrial site, production unit or profit center, with the mission of structuring operations, developing team capabilities, and optimizing key drivers such as productivity, safety, energy efficiency, and cost control, in a culture of operational excellence. Key skills: • Monitoring of production KPIs: OEE, €/t, MTBF, kWh/t, equipment availability • Shopfloor team management, performance rituals (QRQC, AIC, daily stand-ups) • Industrial project management (>€3M), HR restructuring, executive reporting • Proficient in ERP systems, Smartsheet, data analysis tools, and planning software • Global understanding of the value chain: manufacturing, safety, quality, shipping I am especially motivated by transformative industrial environments that require balancing operational discipline, energy efficiency, environmental impact, and team engagement. Target industries: Advanced materials, low-carbon production, green chemistry, energy recovery, industrial equipment, recycling, energy transition, and process industries.
