About Xavier Cooper
I'm currently studying a double major in English & Creative Writing and Marketing at Murdoch University. I'm currently on track to graduate in June 2024. I was lucky enough to enjoy a successful cycling career with a prime focus on road riding, which afforded me the opportunity to race overseas as part of a development squad attending races in Vietnam, Indonesia, Thailand, America and New Zealand. Unfortunately, Covid in 2020 coupled with injuries in 2021 restricted my ability to further pursue a cycling career. While I still enjoy being active and riding my bike, I've transitioned that passion, energy and dedication I showed towards cycling to my studies at Murdoch. This has led me to my current job as a Peer Academic Coach (PAC), where students with a high GPA are employed by the University to offer academic help and advice to other students. I plan to utilise both of my majors to work in a creative marketing space and am actively looking for opportunities to gain experience before I graduate.
