About Xavier Rosado

Currently I work full time at Tufts Health Plan as a Technical Support Specialist/Corporate Liaison. I made it to where I am with the help of a great program for urban youth known as Year Up. Just two short years ago I was working a dead end job wondering where I would be in five years. Today I have a career in a growing field and company! It's all thanks to Year Up and the great staff that run the program. On a day to day basis currently I support everyone from end users to other people in the IT department, Corporate VP's and even the CEO of the company when I am lucky. My main duties entail configuring and troubleshooting various software and hardware used here. Between Desktop Support and Desktop Engineering we support everything from Macs and iPhones to HP's latest desktop and laptop and even the new Microsoft Surface.Some of the main systems we use to manage encrypt and protect these devices are Microsoft AD, McAfee, Symantec and MobileIron. My next goal here is to move up to the 3rd tier of support and become a Desktop Engineer. I plan to continue excelling here in any and everything I do while continuing to provide exceptional service to all of our users.
