About Xavier Thomas

While I have served in the US Army, and I have traveled all over the world many times over, I feel that I have so much more to give. Being a constant sponge for learning new tasks and roles has been one of my strongest attributes and when I first dove into "tech" I saw that was one of the many things that are often overlooked. During the transition from Army into more technical roles I have learned that I certainly have what it takes to succeed, I feel people skills are hard to come by while learning many of the systems, technology, and linear things that can be acquired. Currently exploring different career opportunities from system administration, site reliability engineer, and just about anything dealing with AWS cloud services. I have experience with a vast of services and languages, including Python, Kubernetes, Terraform, Docker, Jenkins, Ansible, Git, Powershell as well as Linux and AWS services such as EC2, S3, EKS, CloudFormation and VPC to name a few. I am looking forward to using the knowledge that I have gained over the years to be a great addition to a team.
