About Xavier Townsend

Im a pre-media graduate who attended Dunwoody College of Technology. Before attending Dunwoody I went to MCTC for liberal arts. After some time exploring my options I settled on pre-media as my career choice. As a fan of computers and tehcnology in general, I learned to excel in the Adobe Suite apps, and also the production process that comes after. As a student worker in Print Services (the in-house print shop at Dunwoody), I learned to operate an iGen4 digital press, wide format printing, and finishing tasks such as binding, cutting and lamination. During my time there I did work for in-school clients such as posters, postcards, banners, and calendars. On most projects I handled all design and production tasks myself, including the digital printing and finishing. I grew up in Minneapolis Minnesota, and decided I wanted to work in the printing industry after being intrigued by graphics I saw in print and online. I have since become interested in Information technology.
