About Xiao Wang

I have been working on Mixing & Compounding technology for 20 years in China, Canada, France and Japan. I possess backgrounds on both mechanical and chemical engineering. I grasped the mixing concepts and understanding from different academic communities and industries in North America, Europe and Asia- I started with mechanical engineering study as BS student, focusing on the design and control of all sorts of chemical reactors. As MS student, I switched to chemical engineering study and dedicate to the investigation of mixing with highly viscous Newtonian and Non-Newtonian fluids in different types of mixers by experiments and numerical simulation. As Ph.D student, I continued my study in Canada on highly viscous fluid mixing and solid-liquid mixing in multi-shaft mixers. As Post-doctoral fellow, I developed my mixing expertise on formulated rubber & polymer compounding on internal mixers for automotive and aerospace industries- I worked in Research & Innovation Center (France) in charge in scientific research and industrial scale-up & technical support worldwide for compounding of rubber/elastomer and thermoplastic polymers on internal mixers and twin screw extruders by means of experiments and numerical simulation & modelization - Nowadays I work at our TP/TPE production plant in France in charge of the industrialization of R&D projects and the improvement & optimization of production process/equipment.
