About Xiaohan Xue

My interests encompass various facets of digital healthcare systems, wearable sensing and predictions, data engineering, and cloud computing. I completed a Ph.D. in Biosystem Science and Engineering at ETH Zurich, where I developed multimodal approaches to investigate neural networks. A core part of my work was the systematic design and implementation of data pipelines including acquisition and analysis. The comprehensive pipelines incorporated novel algorithms employing cutting-edge data engineering/science techniques, as well as ML and DL methodologies for insightful research findings extraction from large-scale high-dimensional neuronal data. Previously, I studied Mechatronics and Micro-Electro-Mechanical Systems (MEMS) Engineering and worked on diverse project topics including robotics, sensors, and signal processing.
