I'm a self-motivated, scientifically rigorous and independent chemist. Throughout my graduate school and over 2 years of industry experience, I obtained extensive experience in the synthesis of polymeric biomaterials and osteogenic growth factor delivery for bone tissue engineering. I also have extensive hands-on experience in formulation development, scale-up as well as process development of injectables such as lipid nanoparticles, polymeric particles, nanosuspension, and nanoemulsion. Specialties: • LNP formulation and process development with mRNA/pDNA payloads using Quality by Design approach. Long-acting injectables development including nanosuspension, PLGA microspheres, liposomes and nanoemulsion. • Scaling up unit operations such as microfluidic mixing, homogenization, wet media milling, microfluidization and TFF. • Nanoparticle and formulation characterization using HPLC, DLS, ELS, SEM, TEM, rheology, surface tension, osmolality, RiboGreen/PicoGreen and in vitro dissolution. • Monomer, polymer synthesis and bioconjugation chemistry for polymer functionalization. • Polymeric scaffold fabrication for tissue engineering studies using lyophilization, porogen leaching, spin coating, electrospinning, and compression molding techniques. • Inorganic/organic material characterization using NMR, ESI-MS, GPC, ICP-OES, DSC, TGA, FTIR, Raman spectroscopy, QCM-D, mechanical testing, SEM/EDS, UV-vis, fluorescence spectroscopy. • In vitro cell viability and osteogenic differentiation assessment on biomaterials using alamar Blue, alkaline phosphatase assay, fluorescent staining, and fluorescence microscope. • Protein quantification using NanoDrop, Bradford/BCA assays, ELISA. • Other: Ethylene oxide (EtO) sterilization, autoclave, dialysis, ultracentrifugation. • Programs: MS Office, Image J, Prism, Origin, ChemDraw, Empower, ChemStation, JMP
