Xiaolei Wang received her Ph.D. degree in Industrial Electronics and Electrical Drives from Aalto University in 2009. Her research focuses on optimization and AI algorithm applications in electrical machines, fault detection, renewable energy, building control, and healthcare. She has served as the principal investigator and a key participant in many projects funded by the Academy of Finland and European Union. She is the author of more than 70 publications, including "An Introduction to Harmony Search Optimization Method," originally published in 2016 and republished in Persian in 2019.
