About Xiaoran Yang

As a healthcare analyst at Analysis group, I use various data (e.g. claim data, survey data) to provide insights of current healthcare systems, markets and patients preference. During my MPH degree, I worked for Adolescent health initiative as data analysis intern where I was in charge of data reports delivery and established a Microsoft Access database to better manage and retrieve data from over 50 clients. In the past, I worked for the Center for Disease Control in China where I gained a deeper understanding of public health and healthcare sector. I seek to maximize the efficiency of all processes in which I am involved. I am proficient in research design and utilizing various programming languages and statistical methods to solve healthcare related questions. My greatest longterm goal is to work in a consulting company with a strong specialty in data analytics and health consulting to practice my skills in real life.
