Temple University, USA1) Several projects with C language in a Linux environment. Project1: Examined concurrency with multi-process and multi-threaded programs. Project2: Implemented monitor using message passing and multi-threads. Finished an algorithm to prevent the deadlock.2) Currently research at Temple in the area of image processing with an emphasis on 2D shape matching. Project1: Boosting(Adaboost) method and time series used for image retrieval. Project2: Salient points to improve the inner distance for shape matching. Project 3: Machine learning based image cropping(SVM, boosting) Project 4: fMRI functional image analysis( design HMM model, cooperate with psychology department for brain function analysis)3) Established and maintaining a website for local firm using ASP.net and JavaScript, Teaching assistant for Computer Graphics & image processing, Database System, Discrete Mathematics II and MATLAB.@ Heidelberg University, GermanyResearch work using machine learning method to process mass spectrometry.• Raw Mass Spectrometry(MS) data preprocessing in linux platform; • 2D Visualization of MS using R language; • Linear Regression method to extract the period of MS in time series@ Previous research and practiceMaster thesis in speech signal processing using C++ in Visual C++ environment.
