About Xin Zhou

My journey began with a fascinating exploration of the mating system of Pheasants, nestled high in the mountains at an ancient temple in Tibet. This endeavor culminated in a comprehensive study on the mating system of Sichuan Pheasants, earning me recognition as an outstanding speaker at the prestigious 4th International Symposium on Galliformes. After that I joined the Institute of Modern Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, where I contributed to a groundbreaking project on Heavy-ion therapy. Harnessing the power of high-energy beams from accelerators to target cancer cells represented a cutting-edge approach in cancer treatment—an endeavor that truly excited me. My dedication and contributions led to my nomination to join the editorial board of Scientific Reports, a testament to my commitment to advancing scientific knowledge. Then destiny led me to Sweden, where I delved into the intricacies of wound healing—a field with profound implications for human health and well-being. It was during the challenging times of the COVID-19 pandemic that I seized the opportunity to make a meaningful impact. I conceptualized a solution aimed at revolutionizing healthcare accessibility, and through dedication and perseverance, I rose to the top ranks of the Venturecup Idea 2022 competition. Subsequently, my venture made it to the final round of the esteemed Venturecup Startup 2023 competition, reaffirming the potential of my vision to transform the healthcare landscape.
