Here my top three SFIA skills: Testing (TEST)- level 4 Accepts responsibility for creation of test cases using own in-depth technical analysis of both functional and non-functional specifications (such as reliability, efficiency, usability, maintainability and portability). Produces test scripts, materials and regression test packs to test new and amended software or services. Reviews test results and modifies tests if necessary. Business analysis (BUAN)- level 3 Investigates operational needs and problems, and opportunities, contributing to the recommendation of improvements in automated and non-automated components of new or changed processes and organisation. Assists in defining acceptance tests for these recommendations. Programming/software development (PROG)- level 3 Designs, codes, verifies, tests, documents, amends and refactors moderately complex programs/ scripts. Applies agreed standards and tools, to achieve a well-engineered result. Collaborates in reviews of work with others as appropriate. My STAR example: Situation: At present, the company where I am intern is conducting an online multi-platform API integration project. Task: As a member of the project team, I need to understand the specific APIs used by different online platforms. Also, I need to conduct API testings with those platforms. Action: Under the guidance of my supervisor and colleagues, I need to understand the API documentation provided by the online platform; I used different API testing tools for conducting functional and non-functional testing Result: The project is progressing smoothly. The company's POS system can integrate sales data from multiple online platforms in real time. At the same time, my professional skills and general skills have been improved.
