About Xochitl Perez

My personal mission is to serve disadvantaged and marginalized children. Advocating for inclusiveness and proper integration of the most vulnerable at risk youth and providing critical services to minorities. While practicing ethical counseling services in serving individuals and the community. Inspiring academic success, teaching coping strategies and creating an everlasting impact. I specialize in working with at risk youth, refugee youth and students needing emotional, behavioral and academic support. Currently I work for the Ontario Montclair school district as a School Outreach Counselor. I provide short term counseling in small group and individual settings. Make referrals to appropriate school and community resources. Consult to support student achievement and success. Collaborate with families, teachers, administrators, other school staff and education stakeholders for student achievement and success. I utilize PBIS implementation to support students. I am a strong community and social services professional with a Master of Education - MEd focused in Counselor Education/School Counseling and Guidance Services from Brandman University, Part of the Chapman University System.
