About Xolisa Mlobothi

With over 12 years of experience in network engineering, I am a passionate and skilled leader in designing, configuring, deploying, and supporting LAN, WLAN, VPN, and VoIP solutions for the Department of home affairs. I am committed to ensuring the security, reliability, and performance of the network infrastructure that supports the mission-critical operations and services of the department. I value collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning, and I strive to bring diverse perspectives and experiences to the team. As a senior network engineer, I am responsible for planning and implementing network projects, troubleshooting and resolving network issues, and managing and optimizing network resources. I use various tools and technologies, such as Microsoft Vision, Cisco routers, Iperf3, Wire shark, Ansible, and Python, to design, configure, test, and monitor network solutions. I also configure and support VoIP gateways and UCCM for desktop phones and routers, enabling efficient and secure communication across the department's branches. I have successfully completed multiple network certifications, such as CCNA and CCNP Enterprise, and I am currently pursuing further education in network deisgn.
