Experience Summary- Proven researcher/innovator with over 40 scholarly papers and over 50 U.S. pending patents as a result of senior technology development roles in Machine-to-Machine (M2M) and Internet-of-Things (IoT) industry- Deep technical insights and multi-disciplinary domain knowledge in Computer System and Networks, Big Data Analytics, Intelligent Transportation Systems, and Semantics- Highly familiar with M2M/IoT standardization related work activities- Highly experienced in standard strategy development, technology promotion- Broad and in-depth knowledge across network layers and M2M/IoT systems, e.g, oneM2M Service Layer, IETF CoAP, HTTP, 802.15.4e Time-Slotted Channel Hopping (TSCH), etc- Highly involved/familiar with Big Data Analytics R&D in IoT scenario, such as data mining techniques, machine learning algorithms, streaming analytics, and large scale distributed data processing infrastructure (e.g, Hadoop), hands on experience on data processing (e.g, for real-time road traffic monitoring using massive vehicular GPS data)- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to work well with internal team members and external collaborators- Highly self-motivated, dependable and responsible, great team player and leader. Short Bio: Currently, I am conducting R&D and standardization activities for IoT at InterDigital. Before that, I have been doing research in academia and research labs. I have published technical papers on main-stream international journals and conferences, such as INFOCOM, TPDS, JSAC, TVT, Elsevier Computer Comm, Elsevier Ad Hoc Networks, OSA OFC, GLOBECOM, etc. I am or have been on the program committee of several conferences, including GLOBECOM, ICC, ISCC, IWCMC, etc. I have also the guest editor for the special issue on Advances in Vehicular Ad Hoc Networking and Applications of International Journal of Distributed Sensor Networks. I am a U.S. Permanent Resident.
