About Yago Primerano

My journey in Data and AI began in high school when I completed my Capstone Project. Through this work, I conducted an in-depth study on Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, and Big Data, realizing that these fields were my calling. In 2021, I enrolled at the University of São Paulo to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems. There, I had my first opportunity to apply techniques related to Data and AI, which solidified my affinity with these areas. At the university, I participated in two scientific research initiatives at USP's Center for Artificial Intelligence (C4AI). The first focused on analyzing academic social networks involving AI researchers in Brazil, while the second explored Argument Mining using Large Language Models (LLMs). 🤖 In 2022, I joined Hype, a study group at EACH-USP dedicated to deepening knowledge in Data and AI. The group aims to create a high-quality learning environment and disseminate knowledge to society. Since 2022, I have served as General Director, coordinating and supervising various sectors and planning short, medium, and long-term objectives. In this context, I discovered my passion for leadership, which led me to receive a scholarship to attend "Entrepreneurial Leadership in Berlin and Europe" at Freie Universität Berlin, Germany. Within Hype, I also discovered my passion for teaching and frequently deliver lectures on Data and AI topics in an accessible, educational way. These experiences have strengthened my commitment to continuously learning about various applications in these fields. I am dedicated to advancing my technical skills, developing new projects, and participating in initiatives to spread knowledge and encourage others to engage in Data and AI. I believe that, in the right hands, Data and AI can turn complexity into clarity and make a positive difference in the world.
