About Yan Monier

I recently completed a PhD in Automation and Control with a focus on model synthesis through data analysis. My current goal is to leverage AI and cutting-edge research to support the transition toward a flexible, secure, and sustainable manufacturing industry. I am developing Adam, a research project at ENS Paris-Saclay designed to facilitate the adoption of digital twins in industrial production lines. My aim is to align research with real-world industrial needs, by exploring: 1) The use of digital twins for data analysis, predictive maintenance, monitoring, simulation, and production line optimization. 2) The construction and adoption challenges of digital twins, including reducing human costs through automation, lowering material costs by reusing existing infrastructures and data, and improving acceptance through explainable physical models rather than purely statistical approaches. I am always open to discussions and collaborations with industry professionals to ensure this work addresses real challenges with tangible value.
