My Test Methodology Testing is not simply writing test cases, then automating them and making up a process to supervise each step. To ensure a better quality, we need to focus on the whole lifecycle of the product. I believe a better test methodology should include : 1) an efficient CI/CD; 2) a reasonable test cases distribution (e.g. Test Pyramid); and 3) a comprehensive monitoring and feedback on production. Furthermore we need to integrate these into the whole development process, instead of inventing a separate ‘test procedure’. To achieve these, the knowledge requirement for a QA will be as close to a Dev. 1CI/CD2 3
