About Yanis Rottier

Partnership Manager of Ecart International From my point of view, passion is what drives people to work harder. Today, I have the incredible chance to have found my path through the industry I’m currently working in. The interior design market is filled with people that understand and value the art and philosophy of what designers created, and are able to share their vision through these exceptional pieces. I first followed a school path based on transportation and supply chain studies for five years. This choice allowed me to obtain internships in transport companies that are leaders in their markets. These experiences helped me to learn the way of functioning of the big groups and I had the chance to manage projects at a national level, such as launching a new monitoring program or even have the chance to evolve the quality control process. Then, I decided to make a turn in my studies and complete my experience by majoring with an International Trade Bachelor and Master. Through my journey with Ecart International and D'Argentat, I had many opportunities to develop my art sensibility through my work, from revitalizing forgotten designers to editing contemporary talented designers. This has granted me the opportunity to better understand what the Philosophy of Andrée Putman was, and still is. My role at Ecart is to define the strategy of the brand at the international scale. Each day is different, and that’s what I'm passionate about. My day to day tasks goes from supervising and handling the request of our international sales team around the world to solving complex issues in the supply chain, to ensuring the customer that each of their project will be delivered on time. With my team, we are dedicated to making the projects of our customers a reality and to be a reliable partner through the years. In the last four years with Ecart, we were able to build strong partnerships between our brand and a lot of amazing companies around the world (USA, Australia, Canada, China, Germany, Sweden, etc.). Building strong bonds through the current situation of the world is one of the many challenges that is essential to share our pieces and our message to the world. Other than that, from a more personal point of view, I have the soul of a traveler and the thing that fascinates me the most is to discover other cultures and to exchange with people from around the world- Speaking (FR/EN); Learning (ES/RU).
