About Yanjun Liu

Advisors seek assistance with helping their clients understand the value of tax planning with insurance. As the only Mandarin speaking DAP in the GTA, I partner with Regional Sales Directors to help advisors identify potential risks and tax issues, so they can provide their clients with the best solutions. Before I joined Sun Life Financial in 2016, I spent eight years in the income tax area at a national accounting firm. I have extensive experience providing tax advisory services to corporations, individuals and international companies. Through training and case support, I build and maintain strong relationships with advisors across the GTA area. I received Certified General Accountant (CGA) designation in 2004, and completed the CICA In-Depth Course. In 2014, I was admitted as a member of Chartered Public Accountant of Ontario and granted a CPA designation, and in 2018, I gained the Chartered Life Insurance underwriting license (CLU). I am also a member of Conference for Advanced Life Underwriting.
