About Yann Lapointe

Yann débute sa carrière en tant que copropriétaire d’un parc immobilier de plus de 3 500 logements dont il assurait la gestion. De 2006 à 2012, il a été vice-président de l’exploitation chez CAPREIT, une des plus importantes sociétés de placement immobilier au Canada, propriétaire de plus de 48 logements au pays. Il y a occupé plusieurs fonctions : responsable de la gestion des portefeuilles immobiliers, des stratégies de répartition d’actifs et d’acquisitions, ainsi que la supervision des travaux de structure d’envergure. Conférencier, modérateur et panéliste lors de forums immobiliers, il a aussi été le président du conseil d’administration de la Corporation des propriétaires immobiliers du Québec. Après plus de 30 ans de carrière en immobilier, Yann s’est associé à Philippe Bernard en 2017 chez PUR Yann Lapointe is Co President of Pur Immobilia inc. since 2017 a firm that is specialized in Real Estate Investments, Management, Development and redevelopment. From 2012 to 2016 he was president and co-founder of Trivica Construction, a company working in the restoration of commercial and multi-unit residential buildings. He possesses over 30 years of experience in the field of real estate and project management in a variety of business sectors. From 2006 to 2012, Yann was Vice President, Operations at CAPREIT, one of Canada’s largest real estate investment firms with over residential units under management. While at CAPREIT, Yann was responsible for managing the company’s real estate portfolios. He also developed asset allocation and acquisition strategies, oversaw all major structural repairs and managed environmental matters. He also played a key role in human resource management, investment portfolio restructuring and improving the performance of the company’s senior team. Before joining Capreit, Yann was co-owner and manager of several real estate properties totaling 3,500 residential units. Yann is often called upon as lecturer, trainer, moderator and panelist by the Urban Development Institute of Québec, the Apartment Owners Association of Greater Montreal and the Quebec Apartment Investment, among others. He was on the board of directors of the Lakeroad Hedge Fund (2013-2017) and is currently President of the board of directors of the Corporation des propriétaires immobiliers du Québec (Quebec Landlord Association). Yann was also a member of the highly regarded Entrepreneurs’ Organization for many years
