About Yannick Bergsma

I’ve always been fascinated by why people do what they do. What is the reason behind their behavior? That question led me to study organizational psychology and shaped the way I look at change, leadership and performance. I've worked with a wide range of organizations, from industrial companies to international corporates, all facing the same challenge: turning strategic ambition into human action. In almost every organization I support, the strategy is solid. The goals are clear. But behavior doesn’t follow. That’s where change gets stuck. I believe transformation only succeeds when people understand what’s in it for them and take ownership for making it happen. Strategy makes it possible. People make it happen. That’s why I guide organizations through a structured journey. First, we create clarity on direction, not just in KPIs but in meaning and purpose. Then we activate people by making the change tangible and relevant to them, so they feel connected and step into the role of change agents. Once that movement begins, we take a closer look at the people themselves. Do we have the right individuals in the right roles? Are there hidden talents, untapped potential or critical development needs? Through assessments, we generate those insights. If something essential is missing, we help find and attract new talent. With the right people in place, we focus on growth. Coaching, learning and development help them reach their next level and sustain the change over time. This is the work I do at PAWLIK, where I lead the ASSESS business.
