About Yannis Kopsinis

Since 1998, the very start of my career in data science, I have been inventing, optimizing and analysing innovative machine learning and signal processing methods for domains ranging from digital communications to medical applications and real time predictive analytics to recommendation systems. I have gained a number of prestigious personal research grants. Among them, a Marie Curie IEF fellowship and a Ramón y Cajal Fellowship, University of Granada, Spain. Moreover, I have worked for more than 5 years as a senior research fellow in the School of Engineering and Electronics, the University of Edinburgh, UK. I have published more than 50 papers in technical journals and conferences and he has co-authored 3 book chapters. My research work has received more than 1800 citations so far. In 2015 I co-founded LIBRA Machine Learning Innovations Ltd, based in Edinburgh, UK and in 2020 I co-founded and I am the CEO at LIBRA AI Technologies, based in Athens, Greece. Our aim is to bring AI & Machine Learning in real life applications and help companies become insighs-driven organizations.
