As a seasoned physician-scientist and biopharmaceutical executive with extensive clinical development experience in oncology, I aspire to develop and create solutions for cancer patients. This has been accomplished through clinical innovation, execution excellence, and integrating critical stakeholders and business practices throughout the development cycle. I am fortunate to have contributed to the development and approval of many oncology drugs in both big pharma and small biotech companies. Due to my unique blend of expertise across clinical and translational research, I advocate for the integration of science and innovative trial design into rational drug development. In my biotech and capital investments venture role, I develop strategic guidance that helps businesses achieve financial growth and optimal organizational performance. Below are highlights of my career accomplishments and specialties: Oncological Clinical Drug Development: Pioneered the biomarker-driven clinical development strategy and contributed to taking five oncology drugs Tykerb®, Votrient®, Tasigna®, Odomzo®, and Ninlaro® from early stage to FDA approval and produced commercial success for three global pharmaceutical firms. Executive Leadership: Transformed clinical programs that were not progressing or were undifferentiated by leveraging scientific expertise, data-driven analytics, global teams, and innovative clinical strategies. Throughout career, drove changes to the research and development culture. Business/Financial Acumen: Drove the strategy, go/no-go decisions, due diligence, and competitive differentiators for major drug portfolios. Deep understanding of financial models for drug development. Industry Thought Leadership: Recognized as subject matter expert with six patents, 36 peer-reviewed journal articles focusing on clinical trial results, a record of ongoing publications, and presented to investors, pharmaceutical partners, and shareholders to ensure success of equity investments and public offerings.
