I am dedicated to creating effective and engaging online learning experiences. I partner with subject matter experts to design and develop engaging and meaningful online courses, utilizing my expertise in learner-centered principles, multimedia learning theory, and Universal Design for Learning. My aim is to create learning experiences that empower learners and drive their success.With a background in educational technology, instructional design, and eLearning, I bring a unique skill set. I am well-versed in the Canvas Learning Management System and tools like Microsoft Teams, Camtasia, and Snagit. I'm also passionate about continuous learning and am currently developing my skills in full stack development.I firmly believe that learning is the key to personal and societal growth. My approach centers on fostering an inclusive and culturally responsive learning environment. I advocate for integrating technology and innovative practices to meet the diverse needs of learners in the 21st century.I completed an online Master of Education degree in Educational Technology and graduate certificates in eLearning and Instructional Design. Growing up bilingual in Spanish and English, I expanded my horizons by learning French and even achieved national recognition in Le Grand Concours. My undergraduate studies focused on Japanese language and culture. I had the life-changing experience of studying abroad in Japan during this time. I'm enthusiastic about sharing my insights and advice with fellow enthusiasts of Japan, Japanese culture, and language studies.
