I am Yash Gowda, Partner and Global Head of Visual Effects at Monsters Aliens Robots Zombies Inc (MARZ). With a background spanning over a decade and a half in visual effects, I have had the honor of contributing to a variety of groundbreaking projects across primetime dramas, major television series, and feature films. My journey has been marked by a passion for blending technology with creativity, leading to my recent focus on spearheading the integration of machine learning in VFX workflows. This initiative aims to enhance creative freedom by automating repetitive tasks, thus elevating the artistic process. Recently, I was instrumental in the merger between MARZ and Vitamin VFX, a move that significantly boosts our ability to produce top-tier visual effects efficiently and cost-effectively. This merger represents a crucial point in our evolution, enabling us to leverage our joint technological and artistic talents to establish new standards in visual storytelling. As a Primetime Emmy and Canadian Screen Awards nominated visual effects Compositing Supervisor, I am continually motivated by the challenges of my field and the opportunity to push the boundaries of what is possible.
