About Yash Patil

I am currently a student at the University of Adelaide, studying a double degree in Chemical Engineering with Banking & Finance. With hands-on experience at Heathgate Resources, BHP, and Deloitte, I’ve been fortunate to explore the intersection of technical problem-solving, strategic planning, and data-driven decision making. I've led impactful projects ranging from process optimization and cost analysis in uranium mining to delivering strategic feasibility studies. My toolkit includes Python, Excel VBA, SQL, Power BI, and an aptitude for project management and financial analysis. Although I specialise in process engineering, I have a special interest for strategy, wealth management and investment. Outside the classroom, I’m a member of the Adelaide University Engineering Society, an event manager for my soccer club, and have volunteered with programs supporting Indigenous communities and children with special needs. I’m always looking for opportunities to contribute, learn, and grow in industries shaping the future — especially in energy, finance, and sustainability.
