About Yash Vyas

I’m a curious problem-solver with a passion for supply chain, logistics, and procurement. My journey has taken me through purchasing in seismology and oil extraction, supply chain management, teaching, and research—each experience shaping the way I think, collaborate, and innovate. With a Postgraduate Diploma in Supply Chain Management and an MSc in Physics, I bring a unique mix of analytical thinking and real-world problem-solving to every challenge. I thrive on optimizing processes, improving efficiency, and building strong relationships—whether it's negotiating contracts, managing vendors, or streamlining logistics operations. Over the years, I’ve worked with JD Edwards, JobBoss, AS 400, MRP analysis, and Value Engineering Systems (VES) tools to enhance procurement and inventory processes. But beyond the systems and strategies, I believe that supply chain is about people—the partnerships we build, the teams we lead, and the collaboration that makes things happen. What Drives Me? Analyzing supply chain trends to uncover efficiencies and cost-saving opportunities Building data-driven strategies to enhance procurement and logistics operations Collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve supplier relationships and inventory accuracy Learning and growing, because every challenge is an opportunity Problem-solving—turning complex supply chain challenges into strategic solutions Exploring new technologies and trends in logistics and procurement Discussing space, science, and seismic activities—because curiosity fuels innovation I’m always open to new conversations, insights, and opportunities to collaborate. I believe that supply chain isn’t just about moving products—it’s about making smarter, faster, and more efficient decisions. If you're looking to discuss insights, innovations, or opportunities in supply chain analytics, logistics and procurement, let’s connect!
