Hi, I’m Yashoraj.If I had to trace back where it all began, it wasn’t in a boardroom or a classroom—it was outside our family restaurant. I was barely 10 or 11, my dad had just opened the place, and there wasn’t a budget for marketing (or even much of a team). So I took matters into my own hands: Roped in two friends, and bribed them with samosas to help distribute flyers around the neighborhood. That was probably my first campaign—and the first time I realized I loved getting the word out.Today, I’m exploring that same instinct in a much bigger playground: influencer marketing. I work in sales, helping brands discover and partner with the right creators. It’s part strategy, part relationship-building, and a whole lot of listening. Some days I’m explaining ROI to brands, other days I’m helping a creator turn their niche into a pitch. Every day, I’m learning.Before this, I spent a couple of years in the tech space, mostly in cloud and Linux, which taught me how to think structurally and solve problems fast (especially when servers weren’t cooperating). With a B.Com from St. Xavier’s University, Kolkata, I bring a business-first lens to everything I do—and as an MBA aspirant, I’m always curious about how marketing, sales, and psychology come together to move people.Outside of work, you’ll probably find me swimming, deep in stocks or crypto, or planning my next escape from the inbox (aka a vacation). I believe marketing isn’t just about selling—it’s about storytelling, trust, and timing.
