About Yassin Ehab

My name is Yassin Ehab. I am a trilingual legal associate who can speak and write in Arabic, English and French fluently. I finished my Bachelors of Law in 2016 at IDAI (a partnership between Cairo University and Université Paris I Pantheon Sorbonne). I have then completed Masters in Economics of Competition Law from Kings College London in December 2022. Currently, I am working as a legal associate in the Hospitality Group at Matouk Bassiouny Egypt office. I joined Matouk Bassiouny after being an Associate in Al Tamimi & Company - Egypt office from July 2022 to February 2024. Before that, I worked as a case handler in the Egyptian Competition Authority from April 2019 to June 2022. Through my experiences I gained significant experience in Competition, Commercial, Civil, Employment, IP, maritime shipping, taxes, and customs laws. In addition to that, I have the experience of drafting agreements, contracts review. issuing legal opinions and legal assessments while working on general corporate advisory matters. Furthermore. I have a more well-rounded skill set in legal research, legal drafting, and legal analysis. Further, my previous roles have strengthened my capabilities in communication with colleagues and clients, as well as my time management skills, while developing a keen attention to detail and accuracy. On another hand, I also write freelance football articles for King Fut and attacking football with the links to my portfolios on both websites shared below.
