About Yatin Kumar

Currently serving as a Graduate Teaching Assistant, I've been fortunate to benefit from exceptional mentors who've shaped my learning journey. Embracing this role is my chance to pay it forward to the community that supported me. Worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at Oregon State University, I am pursuing my Master's degree in Computer Science and working on exciting research projects that require good mathematics and software skills. I have developed multiple applications using C#, MySQL, and MongoDB, and have solved complex problems using various algorithms and data structures. Before joining OSU, I worked as a Software Engineer at Aptean, a leading provider of enterprise software solutions. I was promoted from Associate Software Engineer within 10 months and contributed to the development, testing, and maintenance of several software products for different clients. I also participated in code reviews, documentation, and debugging, and learned from experienced senior developers. I am passionate about software development and always eager to learn new technologies and tools. I believe in working hard, playing together, and reshaping the limits. I like to take on new challenges and responsibilities, as they help me grow my skill set and confidence. I also value collaboration and feedback, and strive to support my team and organization in achieving their goals.
