About Yaxin Li

I chose the track of quantitative finance because I'm someone who loves big data and machine learning. Data analysis and visualization gives me the power to provide more evidence-based recommendations. As we approach the winter of 2023, I am actively seeking opportunities for a data-analysis-related full-time job in the financial field. I am enthusiastic about gaining hands-on experience in the industry and contributing to the success of a dynamic organization. Throughout my academic career, I have developed a deep understanding of financial concepts and acquired strong analytical skills, which will be valuable assets in any internship role. I am proficient in utilizing various data analysis tools and techniques, such as Python (pandas, numpy, matplotlib, sklearn), R, Java Eclipse, MySQL, SPSS, and Excel (VBA), as well as creating engaging presentations using PowerPoint and Word. In addition to my technical skills, I possess industry-specific skills in data mining, data processing, data management, data visualization, and machine learning. I have also obtained the three Bloomberg certifications, BMC, ESG, and BFF, and passed the Financial Risk Management (FRM) Level 1 exam, demonstrating my commitment to professional development in the finance sector. Apart from my academic pursuits, I enjoy physical activities such as exercising. I also enjoy creating coding programs for family and friends and am an avid fan of streaming series like Adams Family and Stranger Things.
