Background

About Yehuda Borenstein

As the CEO and Co-founder of ClimateCrop Ltd, I lead a technology start-up company that increases plant yields and adapts them to more extreme weather. I have over five years of experience establishing and managing strategic business units in Israel and the USA, identifying new markets and applications, and fundraising from grants, strategic partners, and customers.I am also the co-founder and chairman of four other innovative companies that address the challenge of climate change: RepAir Carbon Capture, Carbonade, REEMAG, and Nitrofix. Repair captures CO2 from the air using an electrochemical device powered by renewable sources, while Carbonade converts CO2 into valuable products using electrochemistry. My mission is to create solutions that can support the growth of the population, increase the profit for the farmers, reduce the need for more land, and restore the air CO2 level. I am a BE Innovator Fellow and a specialist in marketing, sales, system engineering, intellectual property, and business development.
