Career description 1.Slurry recipe development and scale-up for cathode - Review new cathode active material : NCM(A)based cathode material for increasing energy density and long cycle performacne (Ni >60%,Ni>80%)- Review additive products for cathode: PVDF and conductive additives.(CNT, Carbon black)- Cathode slurry recipe development: Applying new products to cathode slurry and changing the recipe for increasing energy density- Slurry mixing equipement scale-up from lab to prototype and production : 5 times and 400 times respectively (vs. lab-scale)- Slurry physic properties analysis: Rheological test (Strain sweep test, Frequency sweep test) 2. Streamline production mixing process - Verification of the effect of each mixing step for cathode slurry by prototype mixer.(Intensive mixer (High-viscosity mixing method))- Optimizing the mixing time and slurry's solid content for each step- Applying streamlined mixing process to production scale. Improvement electrochemical performace - Optimizing cell design and changing the process for cycling improvement at low temperature 4. Set-up equipment for cathode in lab - Comma coater : Set the drying process via verification of correlation between electrode properties and drying condition.(Speed, Temperatur)- Intensive mixer : Set the mixing process via correlation analysis between final slurry quality and each step control.*Technical skill 1. SEM, Cross-section SEM, BET, XRD, PSA, DSC, MCT, XPS, Rheological analysis, Peel-off test, Eelctrode resistance test 2.
