Heading the AI, Data and Digital department in CICoR, Roche. Transform the drug discovery and early development via AI combining with science, meaning data at scale and digitalization technologies. Establish the collaboration with Roche pRED D&A function internally and partnership with AI/digital startups and tech companies externally. • Leading a global Roche One-D (Digital transformation) AI retrosynthesis project covering 3 small molecule research sites (Shanghai, Basel, SSF) and 2 REDs (pRED and gRED). Lead the digital lab automation team in Shanghai and manage the autolab localization project for RICS. • Strong advanced analytics skills with special insights in AI/Deep-learning for drug discovery. Core team member of AI capability network within global data science function across US, EU and Asia. Have been supporting on a number of antivirus, antibiotic and immunology drug discovery projects (10+) over 7 years with scientific impacts by visual analytics and AI prediction work. • Leading lab automation and data FAIRification as part of Roche global digitalization initiatives. Recent examples including automating compound analytics data workflow, integrating AI prediction with molecular designing and planning platform, and streamlining compound testing and tracking system. • Experience and strong quantitative skills in scientific research data management. Managed the external sources of building blocks to supply global chemists. Developed innovative curation and visualizations of internal project biological and chemical data and iOS apps for chemistry. Integrated the experimental raw data into global archiving platform. • Experience in enterprise data and information security. Led the site-level assessment and training of Roche applications with confidential information with Roche China legal and patent team. Contributed to cFDA inspections and Roche internal audits in RICS as informatics professional. • Managed teams on global informatics projects (10+)across EU and Asia to deliver complex multi-year and cross-site solutions at Roche. Coordinated with Roche global pharma IT and external IT operation team in Madrid to solve the informatics system issues. Line management of technical team in China.
